Warriors & Wolves do a 7 piece deal before the draft
The Mi’kmaw Warriors have announced a massive trade that includes 7 pieces changing hands as we head into this Saturday ECJLL draft. The Warriors have sent the #1 overall pick to the Sackville Wolves in return for Jack MacMillian, Dylan McMullin, Caden MacDonald, #4 pick, #9 pick and #24. The Warriors now hold the following picks in this first 4 rounds of this Saturday draft #4, #5, #9, #12, #14, #15. We like to welcome to the Warrior Family Jack, Dylan and Caden. Dylan McMullin
Welcome back Dylan, after playing a year with the Sackville Wolves Dylan is back with the Warriors. Dylan will bring a championship attitude and work ethic to the Warriors after being a part of the 2025 ECJLL championship run with the Wolves. Dylan will add a left-handed defender and been a staple to the Warriors back end.
Caden MacDonald
Draft by the Wolves in 2024, played offense the championship Pictou County Generals in Jr B last season. After average just under a point a game in Jr B, Caden will bring another offensive player to the Warriors line up. Having played along side many of the Warriors player in Pictou we excited to see the chemistry though players will bring after playing a year together.
Jack MacMillian
Jack is a right-handed offensive player and one of the two protected players by the Sackville Wolves. In 2024 Jack record 42 goals, 19 assists averaging 4.69 points be game, leaving him 4th overall in points in the MMLL. Jack was also part of the Nova Scotia U17 Provincial Box Lacrosse team that played in Canadian Nationals with his new teammate Brady Googoo. Jack will bring elite level experience to the Warriors roster this year.
